Legal Leaders 2026 runs June 10, 2026 at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai with networking until 17:00.

The legal community in the UAE is gathering for Legal Leaders 2026, the first in-house legal event hosted by Law Middle East, taking place on June 10, 2026 at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai. The program features discussions on technology, risk management, and the evolving role of general counsel (GCs) in board-level strategy.

The conference runs on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, with doors opening at 14:00, the programme from 14:20 to 17:30, and a networking drinks reception until 17:00. It follows the Law Middle East UAE GC Power List launch in September 2025.

Hibah Binghatti to discuss AI and legal operations

Hibah Binghatti, chief legal officer of Binghatti, will participate in a fireside chat titled The modern GC, alongside Fadi Kilani, chief legal officer at Al Khaleej Investment. The session, moderated by Bilal Syed, AI and legal technology lead for Thomson Reuters, will explore how legal teams integrate artificial intelligence and emerging risks into their operations.

Binghatti joins a lineup of over a dozen GCs from major UAE companies, including Careem, Core42, Dubizzle, and Majid Al Futtaim. The event also bridges in-house legal leaders with private practice attorneys, reflecting shifting trends in legal collaboration.

Full agenda spans strategy, collaboration, and leadership

The day begins with an opening address by Essam Al Tamimi, founder of Al Tamimi & Company, followed by a panel on the GC’s role as a strategic business partner. Speakers include Anwar El Khatib of Salik and Emilia Law of Mastercard, moderated by Sadiq Jafar of Hadef & Partners.
